EQ Appoints Board Advisor

EQ is delighted to be working with Angela Paterson as Board advisor.
Angela is helping the EQ Directors develop and shape a medium to long term business strategy.

Angela was a director of the Entrepreneurial Exchange for four years, is passionate about supporting new enterprise and recently project managed the publication of the book ‘Portraits of Inspiration’ – an Exchange project celebrating Entrepreneurial achievements in Scotland.

Angela set up her first business – Kite Ltd – ten years ago and sold the company to Head Resourcing, one of Scotland’s leading HR and Recruitment specialists, in 2007.

In 2006, she set up a web based company based in Inverness called HiJobs.co.uk – focusing on driving talent to the North of Scotland. Hijobs was taken over by a leading national job board in early 2009. In addition to her ongoing involvement with this company, she is involved in a number of small, high growth potential businesses in a Board Advisor capacity including Holyrood Partnership, Capture Media, Search.co.uk, EQ Design and Empire HR.

Angela remains an active networker both in Central and North Scotland. In addition to providing chair support to regional chambers and young enterprise groups, she is a Fusion Highland Champion – promoting entrepreneurial activities in the Highlands – as well as being an Ambassador of a dynamic young networking organization called Winning Entrepreneurs in Central Scotland.

In the Frame

Scotframe – one of Scotland's leading manufacturers of timber frame homes – have appointed EQ Design as their creative agency. We will kick off the New Year by developing a new suite of marketing and communication tools, ranging from ad campaigns through to corporate literature and exhibition materials.

Another month another business win, we have been approached to provide Coates Offshore with a suite of marketing tools for both external and internal use. Watch this space for news on press and outdoor campaigns, internal communication tools and interior display material.

Double Vision

Our digital team are currently working with Duncan and Todd Opticians to design and build two new bespoke CMS websites – one for their retail business arm and one for a new corporate eyecare product they are about to launch. EQ also developed the brand for this product which highlights the ever continuing creative relationship with Duncan and Todd.
